Thanks for sharing!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walmart for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Back-to-School is fast approaching for many! Why not get organized with a fast and easy Duck Tape® Lunch Box Station!

We all stive to help our children become more self-sufficient no matter what the age. Mine happen to be teens! I cleaned out a cabinet and created this simple lunch box station using Duck Tape® and inexpensive plastic shoe boxes.

Simply pick out your favorite Duck Tape® pattern from Walmart and a container of your choice. I used the lines of the container as a guide for my straight line and placed the Duck Tape® just across the front part that is seen slightly wrapping around the sides. I simply stored the container lids in a closet.

I had some chalkboard contact paper on hand so I created a label and wrote with chalk on each of the 3 containers. To find the label tutorial go HERE.

It is my goal that the process be easy for the kids to help with their lunches in the mornings. I make their sandwiches, and they put their drink, fruit and items from this area together.

There are so many creative uses for Duck Tape®! You can also spice up your school supplies. Here I used this adorable chevron pattern to just add a simple creative touch to a plain spiral notebook.

I didn't bother with rulers and exact measurements. I just used the edge of the notebook as a guide. Use some sort of a straight edge to get it nice and smooth without wrinkes. A credit card or something similar will work easily!

A large assortment of Duck Tape® can be found at Walmart in the Craft Department and Paint Department as well as online. The creative possiblities are endless. Duck Tape® is so easy to use that you can get your children involved in the process. Let them help pick out the pattern to embelish notepooks, pens, pencils and various other supplies! Why not let them decorate something special to give to their new teacher on the first day of school!

  1. Love the use of duct tape here! We have a cabinet for just the same purpose. My daughters, 10, 10, 12, 14 all make their own lunches and have since they started school. When they were younger we used color coded cards on the baskets so they knew to get a green, yellow and red item. (Green was drink, yellow was salty, red was sweet). I used to make their main part but they are old enough to do it all now. I might have to redo our baskets to make them pretty like these!
