Bring on Fall

Thanks for sharing!

I am a bit late on bringing out all of the fall goodies from the attic.  I usually do this right after Labor Day.  I guess with working on getting the blog off and running, decorating took to the back burner!  Wait!  I can't let this happen since this is what the blog is about!  Hopefully, it will be running smoothly soon.  Can't wait to see my new Etsy logo design.  Any day now!

Ashlyn was gone all weekend to a tennis tournament in Rock Hill, SC so it was all left to Woods!  Ashlyn is always the eager holiday decorating enthusiast.  I knew there would be grumblings when she discovered I had to start without her. (There were!!)  Woods is my 16 year old son.  See how excited he was to help!

The Happy Helper

Woods helped me take everything out of the attic and place it in the hallway.  The job really wasn't as bad as he makes it out to be or is he just happy for the photo opportunity???  I think my job for him was much easier than what he was headed to next…helping Dad reseed the lawn.  I should have kept him longer, but thought this will be my exercise for the day…kind of like the StairMaster at the gym.

Up and down, up and down…..I lost count!  Does this give you and idea?

Now I get to unpack all of my old friends….and some are old!

And yes……back up the stairs over and over again….

I spent much of Saturday decorating and doing a little crafting for fall.  I'll share some fall decorating and crafts later in the week.  Enjoy the day!  It is raining here so really putting a damper on my spray painting plans for the buckets I'm crafting to hold mums on the front porch!  We do need the rain.

Have a blessed day,
Christy

    1. It is such a chore, but love the look in the end! 🙂 My attic was in bad shape! I was so sick last year when putting away the Christmas. I figured….the kids at the time 12 and 15 were old enough to carry the boxes and put the things in the attic as teamwork (walk in attic- no pull down stairs). Big mistake! It was a mess! I usually have the fall on one side and the Christmas on the other. Oh, no! It was everywhere! This year they will get a teaching moment..hopefully without a sinus infection….lol.

I love hearing from you!
