You guys know I love to paint!
I’ve been working hard to finish a bedroom suit. I can’t wait to share it with you!
Sometimes I grow tired of accessories that I’ve had for years…..like this bronzed rabbit!
He has just been sitting in a corner in the guest bedroom kind of out of site….out of mind.
You can change that with a little paint. Here I used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Old White.
It only took one coat….no time at all. After it dried, I distressed it a bit here and there with a fine grit sanding block. Then just coated lightly with clear wax, let dry and buffed.
Just a little distressing to allow some of the old bronze to show through here and there. Now I love this resin rabbit again! He can easily grace various vignettes during the spring and summer months.
You can see the Rabbit used in these various posts!
Do you have any accessories that have seen better days or you’d like to change the style of! Chalk paint and spray paints are great ways to refresh items and make them new to you!Buffer
