It’s true….over the years our home decorating style can change. Between trends and what we perceive to be in style based on what we see in magazines and online, can be quite overwhelming. I’ve seen many trends come and go through 24 years of marriage. For me, one thing that stays a constant in our…
Welcome to my first Christmas home tour of the season. My sweet friend, Bee, from Windgate Lane organized this tour with a fabulous lineup. Today we are sharing ways in which we welcome our family and friends into our home. A big holiday welcome from those of you visiting from Gourley Girl and Guy. …
It is full on holiday-mode here in our home. The kids have been home from college for Thanksgiving break. It’s wonderful having a full house with them and other guests throughout the holiday. The holiday season brings chillier weather. I am perhaps the most cold-natured human known to man according to my family. As soon…
Spring updates in our master bedroom were simple with the addition of 2 new pillows, swapping out rugs, other pillows, and a new coverlet. I like to thank Vicki and Jenn from 2 Bees in a Pod for organizing this Spring Bedroom Tour! If you are hopping over from Cindy at DIY Beautify, welcome! I…

Christy,
Your home looks comfortably elegant. What a great tour! Thank you for sharing. I am so inspired by your wall color. I have been looking for some sort of neutral to paint the walls throughout our home and am a bit over the usual suspects. Do you know what the name is of the paint that’s on your walls? It’s simply gorgeous!
Thanks so very much!!!! It is Tea Leaves by Sherwin Williams!!! I’ll find the number for you. I get frequent requests for it. I’ll post my paint colors soon in my sidebar for easy reference! Thanks again!! ~Christy

Your tree, home and decor is just beautiful. We share a wedding anniversary! 33 years for us this year on December 27th! I know SO many people that got married on this day.
Laura, thanks so much! I hope you had a Merry Christmas! AND Happy Anniversary to you and your hubby 🙂
Thanks for sharing your beautiful room! I adore the Wizard of Oz ornaments your Mother made. . .reminds me of my sweet Mother, who I have been missing lots this past week. I have ornaments made by her and a bag of unfinished ornaments that she started…I hope to finish them sometime for my tree. Enjoy your Mother while you have her here…and tell her often how much she means to you..
Happy Hearts at Christmas!
Betsy
