Honey-Peanut School Fuel to the Rescue
It's hard to believe that it is that time of the year again….Back-to-School!
This year I have a senior and Sophomore in High School. My did time fly….
The one constant with school age children no matter the age…..they always want a handy, yummy snack.
Today I have for you a 15-minute snack recipe, Honey-Peanut School Fuel.
Chex™ Party Mix™ is just not for the holidays. If you visit Chex™, you will find many recipes to use year round. They are all fabulous for parties, snacks and gifts!
I don't know about your kids, but mine get bored with all those prepackaged snacks. With the variety of recipes that Chex™ has, you can offer your kids a fun variety for their lunchbox or snack time. I plan to fill up a small hard plastic container of these for my kids to throw in their sports bag for afterschool. My kids play varsity soccer, tennis and golf. If I place it in a container opposed to a baggie, it doesn't get crushed in the sports bag. This week at Publix®, Chex™ cereals are buy one, get one free. I don't know about you, but after all the back-to-school fees, supplies, shoes and clothes….I am excited about a deal!
As you can see, minimal ingredients are used for the Honey-Peanut School Fuel. You'll need honey roasted peanuts, chocolate covered peanut candies, Cheerios™ Protein Oats & Honey, and Corn Chex™.
You'll microwave honey and butter together.
After you combine it all, place it to cool on waxed paper. The full recipe is on the Chex™ Site to easily print.
