I can't believe it has already been a month since we began our challenge. I so loved seeing all of your submissions to our challenge in our Facebook group. It's not too late to join. Information on the group can be found at the end of the post. Hope to see you there!
Here we are at month 2 in the challenge! I find shopping my home such fun. Some days I'm tempted to remove every accessory and pile them in the foyer and start over everywhere…..crazy, huh!
The links to these fabulous ladies are below.
Here is my space from Month #1 in the challenge. You can see all of it HERE along with my tips for decorating your home with what you have. Those carnations lasted a good 2 weeks. I changed the water out regularly.
Here is this month's space. I changed out the art, books and flowers. I also added votives.
Hydrangea are one of my absolute favorite flowers. I picked these up at Whole Foods and placed them in this clear square vase. Just 3 blooms really fills it up.
Last month I incorporated pink. This month I used my flowers for inspiration and pulled colors from them.
The 2 books are from a thrift store. I intentionally placed them here as a reminder to read them this spring. Of course I've got to finish my Christmas novel first!
I pulled together my assortment of mercury glass votive holders and placed them on a silver tray from a thrift store.
One of the things that I love so much about this cabinet is the painted colors. It allows me to pull from those colors when decorating the surface.
I borrowed the giclee art of the little boy from the guest room. It sits atop the armoire in there.
But these are the show-stopper of the surface. While I hoped that they would usher in spring, I think I was wrong. As I type, we are expecting a snowstorm to start of up to 10 inches here in SC any minute.
I like that it looks simple and not too cluttered.
Next month, I am challenging myself to replace the lamp. We'll see….
Be sure to visit these fabulous ladies below and see what they did for Month #2!

The mercury glass on the silver tray looks so pretty together. I’ll have to say that I’m ready for Hydrangeas to bloom in my yard. This has been a long winter!
Thanks, Paula!!! I’m ready for blooming hydrangeas as well. I bet you got a lot of snow!!! We didn’t get near what they predicted. 🙁
LOVE the hydrangeas!! They are my favorite flower to decorate with. I bought some faux versions for mine, but nothing compares to fresh blooms. Love the sweet art too! XO

I do just that, when I need a huge change I move around my furniture then I pile all of my pretties together and start clean and fresh. One vignette at a time. It’s quite refreshing. LOL Jo
You are inspiring me to just do it!!! May do that this summer when my daughter can help. It will be such fun! 😉
