I am a bit of a beauty product junkie. I like trying new things, but tend to always go back to products that have proven the test with me.

I always use body wash. I really like using the Suave® Professionals Sea Mineral Infusion Exfoliating Body Wash especially before shaving my legs. It polishes the skin and prepares my legs for a close shave. The Suave® Professionals Sea Mineral Infusion Purifying Body Wash gently washes leaving my skin luminous. I really like having one continuous clean scent head to toe!
After washing and conditioning my hair with the NEW Suave Professionals ® Sea Mineral Infusion Moisturizing Buoyant Body Shampoo & Conditioner system, I was honestly excited to try the NEW Suave Professionals® Sea Mineral Infusion Texturizing Sea Salt Spray.
First of all, I love the idea of all of my hair and skin care products having the same clean, fresh scent. Nothing heavy or overpowering at all. Just leaves you feeling fresh.
I have never had much success at letting my hair air dry. It does have a bit of natural wave to it, but I usually just dry it out straight. When I air dry it, I'm usually left with just frizz. I've tried many products through the years to get that tousled look with no success. So yes, I was a bit excited to see if this would be the ticket to effortless hair for a versatile look.
Here are the easy steps:
- towel dry wet hair
- comb through hair
- liberally spray the texturizing spray root to ends
- Pull up top section of hair and secure with a clip
- Take small sections of hair and twist to form tight ringlets. They are damp and will stay in place
- Release clip and do the same to the top layer
- I have bangs so I styled them with my hair dryer
- Let your hair air dry
Here is what I mean by twisting varying sized sections of hair to create the waves.
Fingers crossed that this would be the product that finally allowed me to dry my hair without the frizzies!
I can't tell you how much I wanted this to work. I like the idea of being able to do this and go about my day of working on DIY projects. Not having to sit blow dry and then flat iron my hair.
After I felt like it was dry enough, I did get my hairdryer and put a touch of heat to a few of the twisted pieces in the upper layer just to really set it.
Then I ran my fingers through it to loosen up all of the spiral twists.
Resit the urge to brush it. If you do, you may lose the tousled look.
You are left with soft hair. We aren't talking that crunchy feel. This is run your fingers through soft.
This will definitely be my go to style especially in the upcoming warmer months.
The next day, I still had waves! I did touch up the top layer with a curling wand just to polish the look a bit.
My husband has always loved for me to wear my hair curly. I swore in 1990 that I'd never have another perm….and I haven't! This is the next best way for me to achieve that fun, curly look.
