This year I selected 8 Maids a Milking.

I had Bessie in mind…..you know….the cow head in my kitchen. I love that thing!

The rest of my family thinks it is odd.

I introduce to you Bessie in Maids a Milking.

Christmas Kitchen Hutch

I went rather simple this year. Bessie borrowed a plaid scarf, and she is looking oh so festive!

I have ordered a set of boxwood wreaths. They still haven't come in yet. One was going to hang around her neck, but I'm liking the scarf  for Christmas.

These adorable little bottle brush trees are from Walmart.

These milk bottles are perfect to complete the theme. Now 8 would have been too many here. You get the idea. Fill them with some flaked fake snow, paper straws and a plaid ribbon tied at the mouth. Very simple and fast. The bottles and supplies came from Michaels.

Notice even the platter has a plaid edge. I've had that platter for about 15 years. Still love it!

My thrift store wooden bowl has been used in many spots in our home. I wrapped a few Styrofoam balls with strips of red toile fabric. I filled it with those, red ornaments, strings of beads and pinecones for a rustic touch.

The sweet little cow pitcher and dairy can were all thrift store finds through the years.

Boxwood topiaries for everyday use just tied with a little red checked ribbon. That ribbon would be cute for Valentine's Day as well.

The DINER sign was a simple DIY paint project.

My teen daughter is having to sacrifice her boots on the porch and her scarf on the cow.
