Happy Friday my friends! I hope you've had a wonderful week and kicking off summer in style.

Nothing special planned here this summer. Just a few trips back and forth to our Caswell Beach, NC family beach cottage. I can't wait to head there soon.

I wanted to share with you today my Simple Summer Makeup routine or for when I actually wear makeup! LOL!

I really don't wear much makeup if I'm just at home.

When it's hot, no one really wants to wear a lot of makeup.

I can tell such a difference in my skin since using LimeLife by Alcone natural skin care for the last year.

Here is my before at 49 years old. I am not someone that feels confident with zero makeup on, but I am happy with the tone, firmness and changes in my skin. I have redness and dark circles…..so I need a bit of help.

It's summer! I get hot and sweat. I really don't want to wear much makeup so I gave something a try without using foundation. Don't get me wrong, our foundation is absolutely amazing. It covers like nothing that I've ever used before, but feels like I have nothing on my skin. It looks like skin. 

Dew Date used to be called Must Dew. Due to our international expansion, LimeLife changed the name of the product. This stuff is amazing! It's a facial oil that is light as a feather. Many men love it as a beard oil to keep it moisturized. I've also applied a little to the ends of my hair. One bottle lasted me almost a year!!!

A little goes a long way. It's best to use a drop and add more if you need it. I apply it on my entire face except my eye lids and lips. I really apply under my eyes. Being 49, I need that extra moisture before applying concealer. 

Immediately after applying Dew Date, I started to apply my concealer. I'm going to share a quick Facebook video showing me applying this look. I did not use the concealer on my entire face, but you could! I used it where I felt like I needed a little help…..under my eyes, around my nose, cheeks and a spot on my chin. The Dew Date really helps to blend it well and give you that dewy look. The concealer is a denser consistency that the foundation. Click the link below to view the video. This is all that I used for this look with the exception of the eye liner! You'll see it in another shot. I just love how compact LimeLife products are. This is seriously my go-to look with the exception of changing lip colors. If red is not your thing, then I love to line my full lip with Festive Pink Liner and top with Knot Telling Lipstick. Such a pretty combo!

I NEVER wear red, but thought I'd try it above. You'll notice in the video that I first applied Knot Telling. I then applied Red Haute on top and blended for a look that I know I'll be wearing a lot!

I'll definitely be wearing foundation to church, work meetings and nights out. For that I use this palette combo with one foundation and 2 concealers. It lasts me close to 8 months!

Same exact makeup used above except I'm wearing the Festive Pink Liner with the Knot Telling Lipstick on top.

Do you notice the dewy look without looking shiny? I get no sun on my face, but I can fake a tan with my bronzer.

I do not have a heavy eye liner look. I am able to draw a fine line with our liner pen which just helps to open my eyes!
