  1. Hi Christy, I have some Winterberry but I’d love to add to my collection. We host my husband’s family Christmas Eve and I’d like to have enough Christmas china to use then. Thanks for the opportunity!

  2. Gorgeous! I would love to use this in a centerpiece at Christmas somehow. I think there must be a way to make it really pop.

  3. I’d use the dishes every day – all year long, not just at the Christmas season. I think they are beautiful as well as useful for every day as well as special events. Using them would make me feel special, special, special!

  4. I used to be a Lenox fanatic, and I still am to some extent. But, I have been falling more and more in love with Pfaltzgraff patterns for years. This Winterberry pattern is gorgeous. I would use it for all of my winter entertaining. I love the delicate pattern and the pop of red from the berries.

  5. I Love this pattern! I would use it on the table with wood chargers, I would place pine cones and sprigs of holly around. Maybe a few cardinal birds, some Birch bark, twigs, and sprinkle a little artificial snow here and there.

  6. I gave my mom pieces from the Winterberry line for years and years. It was her favorite pattern, and I believe that she started when it first came out. Every year for holidays and special events she proudly displayed her Winterberry. She painstakingly took care of each and every piece. She was very proud of each and every piece. She was very sick, and passed away in March. I will be using her china this coming holiday for my own place settings. It will be an emotional time for me, but I am looking forward to continuing her traditions (the china is one of many that I will be continuing).

  7. Such a pretty design. Like you said, it can be used all winter. Thanks for sharing and of getting the giveaway!!

    Blessings…
    ~Sherri

  8. I love sweet, simple patterns like this! I’d be thrilled to surprise my family with these dishes for our Christmas Eve dinner.

  9. I would use my red tablecloth and then let the dishes show off against that background. They are beautiful

  10. I so hope post went through (did not see posted) for beautiful china! First Christmas in new home! I only have cookie plate and Santa set. (got on clearance hoping to get dishes for this year’s special Christmas) We like to make treats for birds and other critters. Would host a finger food get together using berries, pine cones, and acorns for decorations for our table as well as trees outside for the animals! Good luck to all and an early Merry Christmas!

  11. I would use some of the white bottlebrush trees in the center of my dining room table, surrounded by some greenery and a few small red globe tree ornaments. The plates would be on some green placemats. I really like that you can use this pattern all winter season.

  12. You are so right about Winterberry. I use it the hold Holiday season. At times I even use it during spring & summer. When I decorate my dinning room I pull out all my Winterberry place settings. I start out with table linens with Holly leaves & red berries. It looks so much like Winterberry pattern & looks made for each other.I place large Winterberry globes in center & place red Yankee candles in each globe. I drape red glitter ribbon in & out around globes. Then a huge red glitter bow rest in the middle that completes the look.

  13. What a beautiful set! I’ve always loved it because it says winter. It doesn’t scream Christmas. For the holiday, I’d use it on the vintage holly tablecloth from my stepmother’s mother. I’d put a basket in the middle with some huge pinecones with a few shiny red ornaments mixed in. Then maybe red taper candles. I’d use it through the winter with a plain white or red tablecloth. I just love those!

  14. I absolutely loved this pattern the first time I saw it. I have been collecting pieces here and there to complete my set. I start using it at Thanksgiving and continue through winter. My Christmas table starts with the Winterberry tablecloth and alternating red and green napkins in ceramic Christmas tree napkin holders that I made myself. I have a Winterberry candleholder for the center of the table that goes inside a wreath. Love the season and these dishes <3

  15. I’d keep the linens simple in design, maybe a bold red or green to bring out the palette in the Winterberry pattern. I’d splurge on a centerpiece of various evergreen and foliage with hints of red from berries and a small red bird tucked in neatly. Possibly, have candles included in the mix or use mini battery operated lights to add a sparkle. We’re purchasing a new home and should be in it within a few weeks, so the Winterberry would be perfect for our new home.

  16. I would use this set with other red and green decor with a hint of gold or silver in the centerpiece with twigs, berries, holly branches, and mistletoe, maybe red chargers. Thanks for the giveaway. Good luck everyone.

  17. I love the Winterberry pattern. It would be easy to set a very pretty Christmas table or any table during the winter. I really like it because you can use it all winter and not just for Christmas. 😉

  18. Oh My so pretty !!!!!! I can see this set being the Center of Attention at any get together…Certainly would use for all the Holidays, with small decoration ‘s such as decorated flower pots with ornaments all around with acorns…TY

  19. So many directions you could go with this pattern, from rustic to formal! I’m thinking red burlap runner with holly hurricanes down the center of the table. Or lace tablecloth, red roses and holly centerpiece, red depression glass goblets. I already have the white Pfaltzgraff “Acadia” pattern; the serving pieces would mix and match perfectly!

  20. Very pretty! I would use this pattern on a white, French linen tablecloth I had custom made by a vendor on Etsy with fresh greenery to include magnolia branches, holly and pine as the centerpiece complemented by candlesticks holding red candles. Thank you for the opportunity!

  21. I love this pattern! I have a solid green tablecloth that would show it off very well. This is a design that isn’t restricted to Christmas and would also be pretty with a white cloth with a red print runner. Flowers could be used in a centerpiece and holly and berries could be incorporated in the design. I really can’t see a wrong way to use it because it is so versatile.

  22. I love winterberry. Have several pieces but not the place settings. Have gotten some pieces at goodwill. My lucky finds!

  23. What a perfect way to serve our family Christmas Dinner on such beautiful plates, we have a burlap table cloth with a beautiful poinsettia and candles.

  24. I don’t believe any of my comments have been posting the past month or so. Troubles with my PC. Well to the point, who would NOT love this set……. it is truly gorgeous. I can see myself bragging about winning this set and an excuse to insist a couple of friends to come over if just for some tea and biscuits…… sigh.

I won’t tell you the story of my almost purchase of a white set wayyyyyyy back, don’t ask…… and did not. It was very clunky looking, so opted for another…….. and that was a mistake. But this is so delicate and just my style. I probably won’t be able to post this little note, much less enter to win………… sigh again. I read, but something goes wrong with my attempts to comment. Here is hoping!!

    1. Hey Sheryll! So happy to hear from you. Not sure about the commenting issue, but so glad this one went through!!! Big hug to you and good luck! 🙂 ~Christy

  28. Definitely a red, white, and green or black plaid tablecloth. I’m wanting to do more of a woodsy decor this year and it would be so pretty to have the dishes with a plaid table cloth. Thank you for the great giveaway!

  29. I use Winterberry from Thanksgiving to the end of February. I love that it makes such a beautiful table, light, bright and cheerful in the bleakest of winter.

  30. I always cook for the holidays, so my whole family could enjoy this beautiful china! If I win, I will have to get a turkey platter!

  31. I have always wanted some Christmas china but always find an excuse every year to not get it. This is one of my favorite patterns…thanks for the chance to win!!

    hugz,
    Suzanne

  32. I love to use my Winterberry with a Winter table centerpiece made from twigs from the yard that are sprayed white and snowed with canned snow. I also add clusters of fresh berries. It is truly beautiful.

  33. These dishes are just lovely! They would make the perfect housewarming gift for my daughter and her husband. They just moved from a tiny condo into a house they can finally call home. New home equals tight budget and I think that these dishes would help them to start a tradition in their new home when celebrating the holidays! Thank you so much for the opportunity to enter!

  34. I sold a beautiful set of Christmas china several years ago thinking I needed more space. I have deeply regretted it. This set would look lovely on my table using touches of red and a floral arrangement with holly.

  35. I would use this set with a dark green table cloth, silver candle sticks, and shinny ornaments. This would really make a lovely table.

  36. I’d use different pieces all over the house. Bowls and cups for potpourri, plates for cookies and breads, and anywhere and everywhere!

  37. I can see using Winterberry with my antique crystal pieces for an elegant formal holiday dinner for guests and family.
I would use a table centerpiece of holly with red berries and red candles in a crystal bowl.

  38. Such a pretty pattern! Yes, this could be used after the Holidays to help keep spirits up during the not so great wintry days. I could see this on my table!

  39. I do not have a special set of china. I’ve always loved looking at the Pfaltzgraff patterns in the stores. I’ve always wanted a set of my own. The Winter Berry is so pretty! I would use it for Christmas dinner with our little family, perfect since there are 4 of us! 🙂

  40. The Winterberry pattern is my very favorite winter/holiday pattern…it’s so classic and fresh and pretty. We use Winterberry now on our Christmas table and for parties, but I’d love to win and use these dishes as our everyday dishes in the winter – to bring a bit of pretty and magic to our winter table every day! ♥

  41. Love these. I would use a red tablecloth with my green glass charger plates, red goblets and I think a red and green print napkin. Can’t wait to see what you do!

  42. I would dress my table with a cheery red runner, along with some holly greenery, and festive candles. The Winterberry dishes would look so lovely alongside it all.

  43. I use my winterberry pieces for every meal during the Christmas season and I love transforming my kitchen for Christmas when I bring it out and put away my other pfalzgraff set

  44. I like the idea of using Winterberry with Ivory colored- everything- tablecloth, candles, etc. So soft and elegant!

  45. I would adore this set as my FIRST set of china EVER! During and After raising five children, i never splurged on anything as nice as this. I would love to enjoy such a luxury!

  46. I would use Winterberry for our traditional family Christmas Eve dinner, but like you, I would continue to use it all winter long. It’s too pretty to just put away after Christmas. I might even find it difficult to pack away in the spring, since it’s so beautiful! Winterberry has such understated elegance.

  47. This Winterberry place setting would make an elegant holiday table! I think I’d use a green tablecloth (given to me by my sister) and my late mother’s beautiful red linen napkins. I’m excited already!

  48. It’s been a rough year for our family – my Gran, who helped purchase several of my Winterberry pieces, passed away in March. I’d love to lay out a table for our family with Winterberry and the homemade centerpieces we make. We usually use my Mom’s holly trees and my Mother in Law’s pine boughs to make the centerpieces and wreaths for our homes. Lovely and fragrant, and our family coming together to celebrate the Holidays! 🙂

  49. I love this pattern. I have 3 others from Pfaltzgraff. I would love to have this on my Christmas table I have a couple other pieces I would use a green table cloth with red candles and a sleigh with winter berry trim. I think it will look so pretty. I cant wait to have this pattern.

  50. oh man…I LOVE Winterberry and have been a fan since the early 1990’s when I worked in the china department at a local department store! Winterberry is used at my house every Sunday from October through February…they are like my winter dishes…not just for Christmas!

    I LOVE Winterberry!

  51. I follow Pfaltzgraff on Facebook already… and I love their Winterberry pattern. I think it could be used all
winter, too… not just at the holiday!

  52. I Love my Winterberry China!!! I start using them daily starting on December 1st and continually until winter is over. They are especially beautiful for our annual brothers and sisters dinner. We are all older now, so just getting together with us older kids gives us a chance to reconnect and remember our childhood Christmas memories. So these dishes make the celebration even more special. I love them very much, thank you for these beautiful and affordable pieces!

  53. I already have some glasses, and I would love to have the place settings to use for everyday throughout the holidays.

  54. I would love to use Winterberry dinnerware on my dining table. Winterberry coordinates well with my white dishes and the Holllyberry liners in my Longaberger baskets. I can see it now – beautiful and so special either stacked for display or used to enjoy a special and memorable holiday meal with my family – just perfect!

  55. I would love to have this set! I will use it all during this holiday season for meals with family and friends.

  56. it is just my husband and i for the holidays but it would be nice to actually cook this year and have a pretty place setting – normally we just go out to eat so we don’t bother with the hassle and mess

  57. I would use it with classic red and green linens with lots of candles and sprays of pine and holly greenery.

  58. I would use Winterberry to make a festive table with red cloth napkins, a green tablecloth runner and red serving dishes and candles holders.

  59. Such a sweet pattern! I’d use it with green plaid placemats or tablecloth and red chargers with nutcrackers as a centerpiece for Christmas then switch over to silver and white for the rest of winter with Mercury glass candlesticks and frosted pine garland. Love that it doesn’t just have to be for Christmas.

  60. I love this pattern!! We love hot cocoa, and these mugs would be perfect!!! I have 3 daughters, and sometimes, we skip supper and just have cocoa and cookies and talk about our days. I would have to purchase another setting of 4 for our family, but it would totally be worth it!!! I think these would be beautiful in our cabin. With a burlap table runner, holly twigs, pine cones and plaid ribbon!! LOVE!!

  61. I have an embroidered tablecloth that has almost the exact same design on it that I purchased almost 20 years ago when shopping with my mother. She bought one also and we have used them almost every year since then. I lost my mother to cancer this year so this will be another wonderful memory of my mom. Would mix with solid red and green plates that I have along with her silver and lots of silver candelabras and accessories.

  62. I have had my eye on this pattern for years now. Thanks for the chance to get it. We just redid our kitchen/dining area/family room and this pattern will be great to use during the holidays and winter months. I envision using it with a red tablecloth and a natural centerpiece with lots of holly, greens, and maybe some white roses in a vintage silver bowl I have.

  63. I love Winterberry and I use it all year mixed with solid colors, depending on time of year I.e. Valentine’s day, red solids, St.Patrick’s day green and white, summer, blues, Halloween not so much! Have to switch for Fall!

  64. I would use my white table cloth with red napkins I have, run red ribbons crisscross table and add red trees and santos in middle.

I love hearing from you!
