Kid Pleaser Pudding Cups

Thanks for sharing!

Are you getting ready for the Super Bowl?
Excitement is brewing!
I just saw a preview of the Budweiser commercial for the big game. It is absolutely precious!!!

I've shared several ideas for Super Bowl party planning HERE and HERE!

This is such an easy Pudding Cup that little and big (adults) kids will love it. It is portion controlled and easy to prepare in its own serving cup! You could easily prepare in a trifle dish as well!

 All you will need is:

5.9 ounce box of instant chocolate pudding

milk

Oreo cookies

Cool Whip

chocolate sprinkles

 1. Prepare the pudding per the directions on the box.

2. I used 6 of the small punch sized plastic cups.

3. Divide the pudding evenly into the cups.

4. Crush 8 Oreo cookies and sprinkle on top of the pudding.

5. Top with the Cool Whip.

6. Add chocolate sprinkles.

If you do this as a trifle, you would probably want to double everything. The sky is the limit with your combinations.

Combinations that I have done:

Chocolate pudding, coarsely crumbled brownie and Cool Whip

Vanilla pudding, coarsely crumbled pound cake, sliced strawberries and Cool Whip

We are going to a Super Bowl party with 2 other families.  I am going to take this as a trifle for dessert and my Hot Artichoke Dip found HERE.

    1. Lol, Paula….you are correct! We had some friends come by at the last minute, and it worked out perfectly to have the soup and dessert out for my photo shoot! No, there were none left. The kids keep requesting it. Thanks friend!!!! XXOO Christy

  1. Christy, I think the idea of the pudding cups for the kids is great and so pretty..makes them feel like you did something special for them. When families with children get together sometimes the kids feel left out of the festivities. I know my kids hated to sit “at the kid’s table” when we had company. You know not only are the pudding cups great for kids but Adults as well. It is easy to balance and disposable.

Now a question and you don’t have to answer it publicity but do you ever dig plastic silverware out of the trash can after everybody has gone home and put it in the dishwasher so it can be used again? If it is good heavy plastic, I have been known to do that and if it goes with color coded plates, etc. that I have left over.
My daughter insisted on having a wedding reception in our back yard so we used good quality, heavy plastic silverware..It’s been over 23 years and I still have some of it left that I can use. Purchased it a quality party goods business. Nobody has to know you’ve done this. We all find ways to reduce expenses.

    1. Hey sweet, Betty! I hope you are doing well. Yes, the cups were a big hit with the kids AND adults! Who doesn’t like pudding. You are so funny and clever! No, I haven’t done that before, but I run those red solo cups through the dish washer all the time, especially at the beach on vacation. Have a wonderful week, friend! Hugs, Christy

I love hearing from you!
