Country Christmas Breakfast Room
Welcome to our Country Christmas Breakfast Room
Our French Country breakfast room is one of my favorite rooms in our home. The colors are great for the holidays.
I always enjoy decorating it for the various holidays and using different china.
I am so excited to be a part of the “Christmas in the Country” Home Tour and Link Party 2014! This week you will see 40 decorated homes participating in this two-week event from November 28th till December 12th. Please visit Creative Country Mom to see all the new stops on the tour each day. There is also a Holiday themed link party for the event where everyone can add their posts! Let's enjoy a homespun, Country Christmas at www.creativecountrymom.blogspot.com!
Grab a cup of coffee and let's visit for a while.
I kept it simple this year. The only new Christmas decor here is my fabulous vintage truck from EBay. It is so unexpected and goes so perfectly with my 8 Maids a Milking Hutch.
I adore my Winterberry China by Pfaltzgraff. It is so pretty for a winter country table. Just toss a few ornaments and grapevine balls on the table and you're done.
I always host a late morning Christmas breakfast for family. This is how I will set it for this year. The grain sack stripe napkins are from World Market. Orange juice is fun served in wine glasses.
The chargers were shiny gold from the Dollar Tree. A couple of coats of chalkboard spray paint created a fun, casual place setting. They are great used a simple place card.
I've had the faux boxwood topiaries for years from Tuesday Morning.
I added my Winterberry mugs to my bottle drying rack and the upholstery tape trees I made last Christmas. Cookbooks I use a lot are in the vintage tool box below. That sure was a fun project.
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas season. I'm sure you are getting lots of ideas from the tour.

Christy, I love your style, and the table looks perfect for breakfast, or any meal! A couple great ideas – the chargers spray-painted in chalkboard paint, the toolbox cookbook caddy and the upholstery webbing trees. Thanks for sharing and Happy Holidays!

Oh, my!!! What a wonderful thing to say. I am so appreciative of your support! Merry Christmas!
You did a great job. Very cute. That vintage truck is a great find! There is just something about those.
Thanks so much! So happy when I snagged it on EBAY. Merry Christmas!
I Love your dining table!! The vintage truck is to die for and you’re so lucky to have won it!! The whole table looks so cozy, warm and inviting! I love the large bottle drying rack…did you find it in a store?
Thanks so much! I found the drying rack on EBay last year. My husband gave it to me for my birthday!
You have a very welcoming setting. Your flatware caught my eye. I’ve never seen this pattern and am wondering what it is.
Thanks so much! The flatware was from when Southern Living magazine had an interiors home collection with home parties. I really love it. I have been able to find it on EBay to finish my set.
I love your dining room. Its so cozy and I love that. Beautiful Christmas decor.
You have such a warm and inviting breakfast room.
Everything is just lovely! Wish I could come and sit and have a cup of coffee at your beautiful table.
