Spring Cleaning Done Right
Sponsored Post! This is a sponsored post by Bona, but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.
Spring is finally here in the south….warmer temps and that lovely yellow stuff that means leaves will soon be on trees and flowers will be in bloom! I always get excited this time of year. It means the days are longer, and we will finally start living outdoors more after the long, cold winter. It also means that the kids will soon be out of college and home for the summer.
So in anticipation of all that outdoor fun, I have had this urge to clean like a mad woman. There is just something about the house being clean and organized that gets me so happy!
This past weekend, I jumped on cleaning our master bed and bath. We spend a lot of time in our bedroom now that the kids are gone. We have a large flatscreen TV in there and watch TV most on our loveseat in front of the bed. I've gotten more into doing a few makeup videos lately, so I wanted our bath sparkling!
I was in a cleaning frenzy over the weekend. I love to do a deep clean. A few things that I did in our master was to:
- scrub the grout lines
- wiped down all the cabinets and the hardware
- cleaned all the glass surfaces until they were sparkling
- sealed the granite counters
- polished the fixtures
- threw out old makeup and products
- cleaned out the drawers
- transferred old, dingy towels to the garage rag pile
- dusted all the trim
- wiped down the woodwork
- gave the floors a good cleaning
This bad boy by Bona was a cinch to put together…just a few simple clicks and I was done. It got our floors super clean.
My favorite thing about this Bona system is I can clean my floors so fast! I vacuumed first to move any debris and such. The cleaner is already premixed so no mixing or separate buckets. The pad attached to the bottom of the mop and thoroughly cleaned the floors. Then you just toss the pad in the washing machine! Doesn't get much easier than that!
The point where the bottle meets the head swivels so it makes getting around corners and hard to reach areas even easier.
With the squeeze of the handle trigger, you simply squirt product to the floor's surface and clean.
The handle trigger is very smooth and easy on the hands.
It removes dust, dirt, grime and grease to leave a beautifully clean floor.
Safe to use on hard surfaces such as stone, tile, laminate and luxury vinyl!
Don't you just love it when the bathroom sparkles and shines from the floors up!
Safe for your family with GREENGUARD GOLD certification. It leaves no residue or build-up! I've been a Bona uses for many years since we installed hardwood floors in our last home in the early 90s! I heard about their hardwood floor cleaner from our professional installer then, so I've been using Bona for many years! I can clean my hardfood floors with the cleaner that I've trusted for years, but now I can also clean my tile floors with Bona Stone, Tile and Laminate Cleaner!
I hope you've been inspired to spring clean and get your floors cleaner than ever before!

Love Bona! Works wonders on our floors.
One rule in our house is to do a sweep of all closets and either donate and/or bring in a junk removal company. Helps to keep things sane for us!
