Relax and Enjoy FREE Printable
Father's Day was today and I decided to make a simple printable for the beverage and dessert table on the screened porch. Save your printables in a folder and you can change them out and reuse down the road!
Today I'm sharing with you how I made this Relax and Enjoy FREE Printable with the help of Graphic Stock.
Have you heard of Graphic Stock?
Graphic Stock has a library of over 250,000 graphics, icons, vectors. New graphics are constantly being added to keep things fresh. With this site your creative possibilities are endless. Use these images on everything from cards, scrapbook projects, invitations, and school projects to websites. Let me just say that I am absolutely in love with this site.
Graphic Stock has taken the guess-work out of looking for images online. If you are not careful, you can find yourself using copyrighted material. Graphic Stock allows you to use these images worry free with royalty free downloads!
I played around a bit and was able to create this printable using a background and clip art Mason jar. You are able to save the images to your computer and use in the editing software of your choice. I like to use PicMonkey. There is a free version online.
Graphic Stock is giving you the opportunity to play around and create FREE for 7 days!
I saved this entire set to my computer. In my editing software, I cropped out the image I wanted to use. In my case I used the jar in the middle. I did use an eraser tool to remove the white around the jar so it was just the jar. Save that image.
Then I searched backgrounds. Yes, I saved quite a few along the way. It's unlimited downloads after all!
I also cropped the background that I wanted to use.
Upload the background to an 8×10 piece of work. Lock this in place with the software.
Now add your edited Mason jar. You can size it as large or small as you'd like. Lock this in place.
I then added a white overlay rectangle to cover up the writing in the center so I could add my own. Lock this.
I then played around with fonts until I decided on One Trick Pony.
Make sure everything is centered and save your 8×10 piece of work.
Important: If you want your printed work to be nice and sharp you need to go in and change the dpi to 300 for printing and save as a PDF.
It turned out really cute for Father's Day festivities. It can actually be used a lot this summer.
TIP: Don't print your printables on your printer. Upload them to a big box office store and order your printable online. Order it on their top quality white paper. It will be printed on cardstock. Do not fit to page. Print it as an 8×10 on an 8-1/2 x 11 sheet. Then you can trim it with scissors to put in your frame. The print-out only cost .67 cents! My frame came from Wal-Mart. It's the perfect size and color to use for fun printables.

Love what you’ve created! Can you explain more about where exactly you change the dpi to 300 for printing? I a understood exactly what to do until that step. I hope to make a few printables for myself and maybe for my classroom.
Super cute! Love me some GraphicStock!
Thanks for the heads up Christy! I am excited to “play” around and make a few printables as gifts for our kids and grandkiddos. Thanks again.
