17 Christmas Novels
I absolutely love Christmas…..everything about the month of December.
Did you see my latest Christmas Home Tour?
I listen to books all year long! I listen to books as opposed to music while I clean and work on projects around the house. I also listen while I walk. I even just wrote out a list of ingredients to do a little holiday baking to share with you.
While I am a sucker for a great holiday movie whether in the theater or on cable, I also adore Christmas novels.
I try to read books on my Kindle or I also have an Audible account.
TIP: Before I purchase any book or Audible version, I first check to see if it is available at the library for FREE. Who doesn't love free? You can check out books and audiobooks with your library card.
I use both Libby and Hoopla apps on my phone.
The only issue is that you sometimes have is having to wait for a copy. I get impatient with that this time of the year and typically purchase.
A Christmas book makes a great gift for a friend!
I will be picking my Christmas reads from this list as well! It's a hard decision. I hope to read and listen to several.
Have you read any of these? I'd love to hear from you in the comments below.
Ashlyn has read Christmas at the Restaurant. She said it was really good and not long.
You may also enjoy this post from a few years ago that includes a Christmas reading list.

Once Upon a Wardrobe
Megs Devonshire, on a scholarship at Oxford, is brilliant with numbers and equations. She prefers the dependability of facts—except for one: the brother she loves with all her heart doesn’t have long to live. When George becomes captivated by a brand-new book called The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and begs her to find out where Narnia came from, there’s no way she can refuse.
Despite her timidity about approaching the famous author, who is a professor at her school, Megs soon finds herself taking tea with the Oxford don and his own brother, begging them for answers. What she receives instead are stories . . . little-known tales from different periods in Mr. Lewis’s life, which she takes home to George.
Why won’t Mr. Lewis just tell her plainly what George wants to know? The answer will reveal to Meg many truths that science and math cannot, and the gift she thought she was giving to her brother—the story behind Narnia—turns out to be his gift to her, instead: hope.
Thank you for all of these great suggestions. Thanks to you, I am now a huge Pamela Kelly fan. I just ordered the two books in her restaurant series.
