Bunny Makeover with Chalk Paint

Thanks for sharing!

You guys know I love to paint!

I've been working hard to finish a bedroom suit. I can't wait to share it with you!

Sometimes I grow tired of accessories that I've had for years…..like this bronzed rabbit!

He has just been sitting in a corner in the guest bedroom kind of out of site….out of mind.

You can change that with a little paint. Here I used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Old White.

It only took one coat….no time at all. After it dried, I distressed it a bit here and there with a fine grit sanding block. Then just coated lightly with clear wax, let dry and buffed.

Just a little distressing to allow some of the old bronze to show through here and there. Now I love this resin rabbit again! He can easily grace various vignettes during the spring and summer months.
