Favorite Pins Friday {Bedroom Inspiration}
Happy Friday to you all! We are enduring yet another rainy day. I shouldn’t moan and groan. We need all the rain we can get to help our local lakes. We usually suffer with droughts in the summer.
Today I’d like to share some bedroom inspiration. Our bedroom is pretty much complete, but I’d like to do a few minor updates in the next couple of months as our budget allows. I’ll share our master bedroom with you soon!
This bedroom is perfect. It is such a calming retreat with the neutrals and soft greens. The tufted headboard adds a touch of luxury. I love the mix of stained and painted wood for the furniture. I am seriously considering painting our stained dresser.
I enjoy pretty much all styles of decorating. I can appreciate the different elements of particular styles. While I am not a contemporary design style girl, I enjoy the occasional contemporary element mixed in with more traditional decorating. This eclectic look really shines in my eyes. Love the French element in the bench at the foot of the bed.
This bedroom is so happy and cozy. I love this relaxed country cottage style. I could envision reading a good book before drifting off.
This elegant, yet casual French country style bedroom is just lovely. Toile and plaids really stand out against the pale walls and dark bed.
This space is so romantic. I adore the neutral bedding. The fabric panels behind the bed are a simple and inexpensive touch. It is just so wonderfully shabby French in a collected over time way!
Lastly, while this stunning bedroom is quite over the top, you could incorporate some of these elements in a much smaller way. I have our bed dressed in a similar way. I love a cream matelassé coverlet with patterned fabric pillows. It’s a way to get a bit of soft neutrals in the room with a punch of pillow color.
I hope you have enjoyed the inspiration. Small changes can make a big difference and make your space feel refreshed! Simply changing lamp shades or adding a new pillow make a big difference in a budget conscience way!
We have been a sick family this week with colds and fevers all around. I haven’t accomplished any where near what I had planned. Hopefully the weekend will rest everyone up. Count on for next week: Beefy Tortellini Soup recipe and gallery wall post
Enjoy your weekend!

I am absolutely in love with the first bedroom picture and I have been scouring the internet to try to find the source of the original picture. I was trying to find the paint color and details of the items in the room as it is now the inspiration for my master bedroom. I absolutely cannot find anything on it, by any chance, do you remember where you saw this bedroom originally? I am so sorry to bother you, but I am horrible at seeing undertones and I just can’t tell if it’s a grey with blue undertones, green undertones or both. I would really appreciate it if you could help in any way…I was hoping the original poster of the photo would provide details about the color. I also can’t figure out if the headboard is grey or a taupe, LOL, I’m a hot mess when it comes to color.
So sorry for the late reply. I’m playing catch up. No, I don’t have the original source. I found in Pinterest in 2013. There are some really great grays out there that are warmer. You have to be careful because some can look too blue. I’d search for earthy or warmer grays/greige on Pinterest. I’m so sorry that I don’t know more.
I am obsessed with the room in the second phots–canopy bed with all the greens and gold.
Do you know whose duvet or fabric that is on the bed? Many thanks.
Thanks!!! I’m sorry that I don’t have product details. You may be able to click through the pin.
Gorgeous inspiration! Finally decorating my master bedroom re-do is on my list for 2013. My personal favorite is the 1st pic.

What beautiful bedrooms. The thing is you can pull an idea or two out of each one to make your own bedroom blossom. I am sorry that you have been sick! I had my little grandson all day and he is not feeling well either, poor little tyke- xo Diana
