Thrift Store Door {Plate Display}

Good Monday Morning to you!  Last week I shared our southern screened porch tour which you can find HERE.  I'd like to share with you this fabulous $4 thrift store door that I have repurposed as a leaning plate rack display for wall art on the porch!  I had been looking online for quite sometime for wall art.  I kept putting it off because of the expense.  I am very pleased with this for the look and the price!

I purchased the door at one of my favorite local thrift stores.  I have plans to repaint it and make a porch rules sign out of it, but for now I simply added these plates that were no longer being used in my daughter's bedroom.  Until I have the chance to do the sign, I'm liking it like this!

With the panels, it would be perfect for a sign!

I love the vintage feel it adds to the porch!

  2. I love your screened in porch AND those blue and white dishes! My grandmother in Tennessee has a screened in back porch with all kinds of neat things, and only uses blue willow dishes. Special things to me 🙂

    1. Thanks so much, Rachel! I love the blue and white as well. It is classic! I am so happy you stopped by!
