Simple Fall Tablescape

Thanks for sharing!

This week along with a few of my friends, we'll be sharing fall inspiration in our homes. This tour is a tad different. Each day has a theme to inspire your fall décor!

Yesterday was mantels. Today is fall tablescapes.

Below you will find the tour line-up along with direct links.

Fall is perhaps my favorite season. While I love the beach, I prefer to be in sweaters, boots and bundled up by a crackling fire.

While the temps are still warm during the day, the evenings have a slight chill in the air. Just last night, I had to sit in the car to watch the remainder of my daughter's tennis match since I didn't thing to bring a sweater.

This room cries out for fall décor. The colors and feel of this room work with the season.

I love my striped runner from Tuesday morning. It really brightens up the table.  The placemats were purchased at Ikea this summer after another fun Haven conference.

The white plates are from the Better Homes and Gardens Collection at Walmart. I've had them a couple of years now.  The blue and white are from Ingles! Remember the days when grocery stores would sell china on occasion. Each week there would be a piece of the week. I collected about all of it I think! I love it to this day!!

The little pumpkins came from the Dollar Tree. Stray paint them white and paint the stems with metallic gold paint. It's unexpected to place them atop candlesticks. Arrange a little moss under them and you have instant fall charm.

I love my fall colored rooster. He has perched in many spots around the kitchen!

Traditional fall colors grace the hutch in the dining area. The little ceramic pumpkins are from Dollar Tree as well. They blend nicely with my velvet pumpkins. I carried the blue and white through the breakfast room.

This took like 2 minutes to put together. A large floral candle ring sits atop this tureen. I simply place the largest velvet pumpkin on top. The tureen is resting on a thrift store silver tray with 2 additional velvet pumpkins snuggling against the tureen. If you invert the top of the tureen, it makes a stable area for the large pumpkin.
