Casual Easter Tablescape
April is almost here!!!
70s predicted this week and sunshine! Bring it on!
This week I'm sharing spring Easter inspiration with you all week along with a few of my blogging friends!
I've shared a couple of crafts with your that are on my kitchen table for spring. Today I'll be sharing the entire tablescape. It is very simple…nothing over the top!
I started with my sage green placemats and linen table runner. Here I placed the Grain Sack Chalky Painted Wooden runner.
This runner was made in less than 2 hours including dry time.
I then added the antiqued rabbit. He didn't always look like this! I'll share his update how-to soon!
I then filled around him with fresh-cut boxwood from the yard, wooden painted eggs that I've had for years, moss-covered rocks from Dollar Tree and my Dollar Tree Clothes Line Wrapped Easter Eggs.
I've had these inexpensive glass cylinders for years. They are just so versatile. Here I have wrapped them in layered ribbons: burlap, lace and pink. So simple, so fast and not permanent!
Not every tablescape has to cost lots of money or take forever to put together. This would be perfect for Easter Sunday breakfast.
I have a set of the Depression Glass dessert dishes that my mom gave me. They are perfect for a decorative simple egg nest. I just placed a small amount of natural looking Easter grass to form a nest and placed a painted wooden egg in the center of each. The eggs were a Hobby Lobby purchase years ago.
I have gotten so much use from my Better Homes and Gardens casual china from Walmart.
Be sure to visit my blogging friends listed below!!! Check back each day and the link to each day's Easter posts will be visible for that day in the linky below. I'd love for you to pin!!! Happy Spring!!

I really love your table, Christy! The wood table runner was such a neat idea. I never have a lot of room on my table when we have holiday dinners but I would really like to make one for everyday. The wrapped vases are such a great idea! Very original! 🙂

Thanks, Jane! I have really enjoyed it! Thinks I’m going to make more with a little twist! ~Christy
What a beautiful table you’ve set for your family for a casual Easter meal. I love your centerpiece and the grain sack runner that you crafted from wood to go under it. Since I’m an antique lover, the first thing I wondered when I saw your first picture was if the dishes were depression glass. Both my mom and aunts have huge collections of depression glass. I love it all!
Thanks so much, Paula! I love depression glass. I really need to look for more. So pretty in the spring and summer! XXOO Christy
