I can't wait to see what 2019 has in store for our thrift store makeovers! I've got a few new finds waiting in the garage for their makeovers.
I think my favorite makeover this year came about very accidentally. This is the second makeover for this thrift store piece that resides on our front porch. I painted it the blue color before I started blogging so there is no post on it. It needed to be repainted so I started to sand it. I liked what was happening that I decided to leave it as is. I just sprayed a clear matte sealer on it. You can find all the details on the porch console makeover HERE.
I love this magazine rack turned File Storage from Sadie Seasongoods because I have one and can't wait to use mine in this way.
I am always drawn to wall decor makeovers and this World Map Makeover from My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia would be perfect in my son's room. He is in college, and I've been working on his room for a couple of months.
Farmhouse is all the rage right now, and I feel so at home with it incorporated into our house. I really like this tray turned Perpetual Calendar Message Board from Refresh Restyle. Great alternative use from the intended!
More farmhouse style in tray form! Petticoat Junktion blew this one out of the ballpark! This can be used as a wall hanging or a tray!
I've been so obsessed with blues lately that this wooden bowl makeover really spoke to me. Such a wonderful bowl makeover from House of Hawthorne that works with any style!
I see these old produce baskets all the time at the thrift store and always pass them by. i think I even have a few in the garage. So many cute looks to achieve using this stained technique from Domestically Speaking.
Be on the lookout for some candlesticks or lamp parts to DIY your own birdbath like My Repurposed Life did. These would be so cute in our flowerbeds!
I hope you are inspired like me! Below are the links to the other team member's favorites of 2018! Also you'll find the link up of over 100 of our best!
