The mix of the more formal window with the stone floor and willow furniture really says welcome here. The plaid seat cushion looks so cozy. You could easily cover your porch cushions temporarily with plaid flannel sheets.
Maybe you prefer the look of neutrals. The plaid on the chair is timeless. You could use any color imaginable with it and it would look fabulous. Did you notice that amazing deer art?
This is my kitchen table last Christmas. Plaid table runners and napkins are easy to find at Walmart, HomeGoods and TJMaxx andAmazon.
Casually elegant space with a mix of plaid panels and the stripes on the walls. Just lovely via Better Homes and Gardens
Simply use all plaid wrapping paper under the tree. Source
Love the idea of using your neutral linens and saving money by just adding a simple plaid ribbon to the silver. Source
Well……I finally finished my teen daughter’s desk. It has been quite the work in progress. It started out as a Craigslist find that was in pretty good shape with a bad, dingy paint job. It was one of our beach finds. Nothing like a monthly furniture challenge to get you motivated to finish the job!…
December is by far the busiest month of the year for me…….the home holiday decorator, chef, maid, chauffeur, gift shopper and wrapper, party organizer, Christmas card designer and sender…..just to name a few. Don’t get me wrong….I do get stressed, but in the end I love every precious minute of it!! Now would be a…
I just love Pinterest! I was an avid pinner even before starting my blog. I’ve been crafting since I was a kid constructing my own Barbie furniture out of tissue boxes and such. I never had that coveted Barbie Townhouse. Instead, I used my desk chair and created my own 2 level townhouse. Come to…
Happy Monday to you all! I am back from my daughter’s field trip after being gone several work days last week. It’s time to get back into the swing of things! After Christmas decorations come down, I always use that opportunity to rearrange our accessories. It is so easy to get bored with what you…
Gallery Walls are a great way to show off a collection of art, family pictures or a combination of both. I have been working on a gallery wall for a couple of weeks now. It has been quite the project. I have a collection of pictures of our kiddos that have taken over! It has…

I’ve teamed up with a talented group of ladies to bring you Thanksgiving Tablescape & Centerpiece Ideas. My dining room has slowly been transforming over the last year. Great post! I stumbled upon it on Pinterest. Gotta love plaid!
Love love love those pictures. I adore plaids and paisleys, and think autumn and winter are just especially perfect to pull them into any decor, formall or not. Polished silver just gleams brighter on a plaid cloth or runner. Thanks for sharing!
I love the plaids. I got some fabric last year — too near to Christmas to do anything but I think I’ll bring it out and create. Thank you for the inspiration.
I’m using my beloved plaid rimmed dinner plates by Gibson from my parents years ago with the little deer lunch plates from Better Homes on creamware larger dinner plates for my Christmas Tea this year. They look adorable together. Red plaid is so classically lovely especially at Christmastime.
