Shiplap Tutorials
A few weeks ago, I mentioned that we are in the throws of a mini-makeover in the upstairs hall bathroom. It's our son's bath that is away at college, but also serves as a guest bath when the bonus room is in use.
I envision something Farmhouse Industrial……I'm thinking navy accents.
The room has wallpaper which has been removed. We are just now working on repairing the walls for paint. There is one accent wall that is free of obstacles that presents itself as a great candidate for shiplap!
We've never completed any project with shiplap. We aren't really that handy. We have pleasantly surprised ourselves with a few simply DIY project using basic power tools. Guess what….my hubby in on board for tackling a shiplap wall. Will it become addictive because I have a couple of other areas that would look great with it!
I asked a few of my blogger friends to share their shiplap tutorials with me. With a little help from friends, I think we can do this! I bet you can as well.
There are so many ways to come away with the look. The most affordable options are ripping down plywood. I think this will most likely be the route that we take. Your hardware store can do it for you usually for a minimal fee and it makes is so much cheaper!
