Holiday Decor Challenge {Halloween Mantel}
Welcome back to another round from the Décor Enthusiast Team! We've decided to do One Space, Three Ways again. It was such a huge success the first go around. This time it's the Holiday Edition!
I decided to go Halloween this year for my October mantel. My sidekick is always around while I'm working, so I added him into the décor. A little clip art fun was had with this one! Love my grandpup! Did you know that he has his very own Instagram account that my daughter manages. He loves posing for the camera. You can find Bentley on Instagram HERE. (@bentleywestie)
This month you can either decorate with a fall or Halloween theme.
I went Halloween!
I made the really quick and easy Halloween bunting. I'll have that tutorial for you on Sunday.
The skulls came from the Dollar Tree. Metallic gold spray paint jazzes them up!
The gold painted pumpkins and black birds are also from the Dollar Tree.
Take the plastic look away from faux pumpkins by wrapping the stem with twine and securing with hot glue.
This pumpkin was faux orange and faded from many years of outdoor use. I simply created this more elegant Halloween look with spray paint and chevron painters tape. Spray a spider from the Dollar Tree and you've got a new look!
Similar story here with this pumpkin. Glue a felt spider web from the Dollar Tree for another low-cost look with an old, faded pumpkin.
I even have a pedestal for this pumpkin. It was a purple candy bowl from the Dollar Tree. I just sprayed it black and turned it upside-down.
I'm liking the non tradition look…..a bit of understated glam.
Be sure to go back and pin images for later!

I just love what you have going on with your halloween mantel but your grandpup Bentley stole the show. how stinkin cute is that pic…although I am still upset about the scare that he gave us a few weekes ago! Good thing he is such a cutie
I am amazed….I went to the dollar store the other day looking for some seasonal decor and walked out with nothing. Next time I’m going to be thinking SPRAY PAINT!!!
Awesome job. Love it.
That candy bowl upside down is perfect!! So clever!! I love your Halloween decor Christy! 🙂 (and Bentley!!!!)

I need to browse the dollar store aisles with your eye because your Halloween Mantle looks high-end Christy! Oh my gosh, Bentley is so adorable! Reminds me so much of our beloved Shanleigh who was a part of our family for 15 years.
I always forget about the dollar store! You made those finds look so much more expensive! Love the whole look, and of course Bentley steals the show! XOXO
