Today's post will be a bit shorter in that I've been on vacation and just returned late yesterday.

I know you've seen this dress before, but since this was a porch photo, I just could not resist!

We went to Nashville, Tennesse this week. We left Tuesday morning and returned late yesterday afternoon. This photo was taken in front of the Belle Meade home that we toured. Actually, this was the back porch. This estate was gorgeous. I can't wait to share more with you from the trip. I will be sharing a blog post this coming week on 3 Days in Nashville.

I LOVE this dress from Target. I am wearing a small. It comes in several colors but almost sold out. The Knox Rose line at Target is a favorite. I found a few more dresses from Target that I love for casual summer days and evenings.

Reading Glasses

The readers that I share above are amazing. This is not an affiliate link.

My doctor recently moved me up to 2.5 readers. These sunglasses are such a great value. I did up the charge by adding polarized lenses since I will wear these on the beach for reading my Kindle

These sunglasses are progressive readers. If you are like me and have to wear your readers so much, progressive readers allow you to see clear vision straight ahead with readers on the bottom. There is NO visible line with progressive readers. It can take a little time to get used to.

My new progressive prescription is due in from Warby Parker on Monday. I can't wait to get them. If you are wanting to try an inexpensive option first, try these from Amazon. I've been wearing them for a while. ReadingGlasses.com also has nicer ones. Your doctor can write a prescription for them, but that will increase your cost to $300+. I've opted to go this route with Warby Parker because I wear them all the time, and I wanted a great fitting frame.

Walking Sandals

I broke out the walking sandals this week for our Nashville trip. I've had these sandals for 2 years now. They are so comfortable! I love the gold so that they essentially go with everything. I've worn these with dresses, shorts, capris, and jeans. I really would like to get some more of the Bionica brand. My style is no longer available, but I found the latest designs. I'd love to get some other colors. I actually find myself wearing these beyond travel. See the below graphic for more options.

There is nothing worse than sore feet and travel. I honestly can't stand my feet trapped in tennis shoes on a hot day. I find a sandal like mine to be a great alternative.

I also wore these walking sandals while there from Clarks. I just got them at Nordstrom Rack but found them on Amazon as well. I couldn't find a Nordstrom link. The color I linked is my exact color. They are so comfortable!!!!
