Simple Easter Centerpiece

Thanks for sharing!

I just LOVE a challenge…….a decorating challenge that is! How about you? This challenge is just in time for all the spring decorating. Aren't you ready for spring!

I'm sharing my Simple Easter Centerpiece!

When my friend, Cindy from Country Road 407, asked me if I'd like to join in with a fun Easter challenge…..I was all on board!

Here is how it works! Cindy came across a gorgeous photo of an Instagrammer. She contacted her and asked if we could use her photo for inspiration. She agreed! Cindy sent each of us the photo.

The challenge is to recreate the Easter Centerpiece using our own personal take! Squeal!!! Y'all the inspiration photo is so pretty.

Our inspiration photo for the challenge is the beautiful design of @ASimplyStyledNest on Instagram. You can go to this Instagram Link to give Lisa a follow on your computer or simply type in A Simply Styled Nest on your phone in the search bar in the Instagram App.

Everything about this tablescape is gorgeous! I'm totally smitten with the adorable bunny plates.

Our challenge is to recreate the centerpiece, not the entire tablescape. I thought I'd be a little different and create my centerpiece for our coffee table.

If you are stopping by from Amber over at Follow the Yellow Brick Home, welcome!!! Amber is one of my favorite bloggers. I love her vintage style and collections!

You are in for a treat so be sure to follow to the end so you can find the links to the other bloggers on the tour. You will get to see 16 centerpiece ideas with the above photo for inspiration. How cool is that!

bunny basket

This basket is one of my favorites from the thrift store. With a little paint, you can achieve a similar look. The instructions for the TRAY MAKEOVER are simple.

basket

Start with your tray.

To balance the bunny, place a plate or book underneath it.

I LOVE this new eucalyptus garland. It's well made. I had originally bought it for the dining room table, but it works perfectly for a base of greenery.

bunny with eggs

I played around with different bowls, but eventually went with the one above. It's a small cereal bowl with a blue and pink pattern. Just tuck your flowers all around the piece and fill in with the faux eggs. It took like 15 minutes to achieve this look.

I am so pleased with the look. I could easily move this to my dining room table as well! Easter is so late this year, that it might get moved around a bit!

eggs

I had all of the florals on hand from other decor projects, but I linked the exact ones above in the instructions. The only new items in the arrangement are the garland and the mini-eggs. I love the pattern in the bowl peeking out.

easter

To complete the tablescape, I added accessories that pulled colors from the basket.

Would you believe that this bunny used to be dark bronze. Paint can totally update your accessories! You can see the technique for the bunny HERE.

Up next on the tour is my friend, Laura from Decor to Adore! You are in store for something so pretty!! Laura has a way with seasonal decor.
