Styling a Heart Sweater
Styling a heart sweater four ways from casual to dressy! Perfect for Valentine's Day and beyond! Amazon fashion for the win!
I'd love for you to join me on Instagram where I share more fashion, especially in stories.
Valentine's Day will be here before we know it. I'm sure that most of us will be celebrating at home this year.
Styling a Heart Sweater
It's no surprise that my family loves Amazon shopping. It's so convenient and for the most part pretty speedy.
I have pretty good success with Amazon fashion. There have been a few hit or misses, but it's great especially for trendier items that you don't want to spend a lot on.
For the most part, I'm pretty casual. I like easy-going pieces that are comfortable.
Don't get me wrong, I love to dress up and have a fun night out with my hubby and friends.

Amazon Shopping Tips
- check sizing chart
- also, read the description for measurements
- read the reviews
I think the most informative thing for selecting the correct size whether it be Amazon or any site is to READ the reviews. I really appreciate the ones where people give their height and number size PLUS the size they ordered.
These reviews have totally swayed the size I've ordered. I've ordered everything from a small to a large from Amazon.
Amazon Prime is great because you get free shipping to you and back for a possible needed return.
I adore my new heart sweater!
FIT TIP: I am 5-6 (although I think I have shrunk) and wear a size 6-8. I ordered a size medium.
This sweater is fabulous. It is lightweight and comes in quite a few patterns and color options. I want a couple of solid colors for spring.
I have not washed it yet. I will let it air dry. I have longer arms and appreciate that the medium is a great length.
It is not fitted. If you'd like a looser fit, you could go up a size. Since it has a slightly gathered waistband, going up might be a bit sloppy on me. If you are larger busted you may want the large. I'm a B cup.
I will definitely be wearing this sweater beyond Valentine's Day. We all need a little extra love these days so why not!
I purchased it in the black and gray option to wear beyond February 14!
Here are the four looks with the heart sweater!
Skinny Jeans || Black Flats || Sweater || Earrings
Look #1
This is perhaps the way that I'll wear it the most! The skinny jeans are from Target last year and are true to size. The black suede ballet flats are from Amazon. They are an Amazon brand. I already own these in the tan and LOVE them!!! They won't last forever but are comfy right out of the bag.
FIT TIP: I wear a size 8, but size up to 8.5 for these flats.

Similar Velour Joggers || Sweater || Exact Sneakers || Earrings
My joggers were a Marshall's purchase last year. The tennis shoes were a Christmas gift. They have gold/copper heels for fun!
Look #3
Exact Jeans || Sweater || Leopard Flats || Earrings
The jeans were a Walmart purchase in the fall. I really like the fit, but wish I had purchased them in a petite for a shorter length. I may get these hemmed or just cut some length off for a raw edge look. I roll them up with flats, but love them unrolled with a heel.
I took a chance on these Sketchers green leopard flats. They come in several patterns and colors. I ordered an 8, but they do run a touch wide. I'm going to keep them because they are so fun and add an insert for a snugger fit.

Sequin Pants || Sweater || Similar Wedge || Earrings
I'm always looking for an excuse to wear my sequin joggers from Chicos. I bought these in December and LOVE. They are so comfy. The sequins don't fall off. They are smooth and stretchy on the inside. They have pull-on styling with a satin stripe down the side of the legs. Chicos has different sizing. I ordered a size 1, but would love to have tried a .5. They are classic and will be fun during holidays. You could really wear them year around by changing the look of your top.
These sequin pants were my top reader purchase in December!

There so fun and I feel really sassy in them!
Sequin Pants || White Sweater || Leopard Heels
This was how I wore the sequin pants in December. This was absolutely the comfiest festive look. The sweater is from Amazon, and I want every color. It's that good. I am wearing a small. It is a loose fit with a slight high/low hem which is great with leggings.
It's truly is a fun sweater! It would be really cute with a quilted vest as well.
On a side note, I've been contemplating letting my hair go natural, gray. I'm so tired of the process that doesn't last but a few weeks.
I do it myself which I love with eSalon.
I'm 52 and wonder if that's too young. There is a large movement of women even in their 30s doing this. Have you done this? I'd love to hear your thoughts or comments. I asked on Instagram and lots have done it. Follow me over there and check out the #silversisters hashtag. So many inspiring photos.
It's just color so I can always give up and go back to color. Just in case…..This color was done on 1/21/21. You can even see where I have trouble getting the gray to color around my face.
I'd love for you to PIN this post!
