The 17 Best Artificial Christmas Trees
There are so many factors to consider when purchasing a Christmas tree for your home!
Are you pro real Christmas trees? Nothing beats heading to the nearest tree farm.
Do you prefer fake trees?
Do you like the convenience of a pre-lit tree?
It's all a personal preference. Regardless, the holiday season is fast approaching.
If you are in the market for a new tree, now is the time to get the best options and fabulous price points.
I have created a list of the best artificial Christmas trees.
There are some great Christmas tree deals out there right now.
Many even offer quick free shipping.
Faux Christmas trees can be the best option for small spaces.
With the real thing, it can be very difficult to find a slim look.
The more height you select with a live Christmas tree, the fuller the tree.
This is the issue that we have in our living room by the fireplace.
One year, we tried a natural tree to the side of the fireplace by the staircase. We went with one close to 9 feet tall.
It was a gorgeous, lush look Fraser fir.
The problem is that it was so full, that it took over the room.
This faux tree by the fire is a lovely tree. This was the year that I selected a 7.5-foot version that was unlit. I went unlit because the lights on my super old faux tree in the foyer went dark on me one year. I didn't really have the funds for a new tree. That tree was still in good shape, so I painstakingly cut all those lights out. It took forever!
I kind of regretted the unlit version. It does come with a pre-lit option.
Pre-lit trees have come a long way especially if you select a tree from a company that specializes in high-quality trees!

Pre-lit versus Un-lit
So I have gone back to selecting pre-lit option trees. Here is why.
LED lights are key! For one they are cooler to the touch and more energy efficient. Plus they have a history of lasting for a long time. I prefer warm light options.
For these reasons, I've gone back to pre-lit Christmas trees.
Slim Styles
Slim-style trees are perfect for small spaces like smaller rooms and apartments.
They are even a great option for rooms with high ceilings, but you are still tight on space.
Pay attention to the width of the tree in the description and measure your space. Some slim trees are wider than others. Don't just go by the fact that the description says slim.
This is the exact tree that is in our family room by the fireplace this year. For several years, we have had an artificial Christmas tree by the fireplace. It is 9 feet.
Our live tree goes in the archway between the kitchen and the family room.
I love having the artificial tree by the fireplace to enjoy the glow while watching TV or enjoying the wood-burning fireplace. We did not want to place a live tree by the fireplace. It would try out too quickly.
I can't begin to tell you how impressed I am with this tree. You can see my video here on how easy it is to install this tree. There is little to no fluffing involved! Here it is undecorated. It's gorgeous as is!
Your higher-quality trees will have a quick connect feature. The pole itself is essentially the outlet connector. There are no wires to connect. As soon as you place the sections together, the tree lights up.
This tree comes with a couple of lighting options.
It has a remote plus a foot pedal.
It comes with many options from flashing to steady on. You have the option for a clear, warm light to a fun color option.
This is truly the best faux tree if you are in the market for a slim tree. It comes already fluffed! The only part that I had to fluff just a bit was the very top of the tree.
This tree was out of the box and ready to decorate in 10 minutes!
Most of these trees have the option to purchase LIT or UNLIT. Just read the description when you click the link.
This tree is full-bodied branches on a slim tree for a lush look!
The branches of this tree feel light and airy! Again, these trees have a lit and unlit option.
Fuller Styles
The most realistic trees are perhaps the full variety. Pay attention to the width of the tree and measure your space! A faux tree is an investment. You don't want to be disappointed to open your tree, get it up and it engulfs a space.
I am obsessed with this tree. It is the tree that I wanted for my fireplace, but the 9-foot option would not fit. I am bound and determined to have this tree somewhere one day. We hope to remodel the upstairs playroom for us now that the kids are gone. I am thinking that it will work up there. This is a wildly popular tree and is a stunner.
A Fraser Fir is my favorite tree. It is what we purchase for our real tree. This one is a beautiful tree and so lifelike!
This one is perhaps the fullest. It reminds me of trees from the olden days. The fuller the better!
Flocked Styles
Flocked trees are not for everyone. While I would not select this for the main tree, I find it fun for a smaller look in our dining room. They are a bit messier, but once it is up and I vacuum…I have no issues.
This is our second year with this exact tree. I love the look in our dining room. I opted for the smaller 7.5-foot tree. The armoire is the centerpiece of the room. I wanted it to accentuate the space and not stand out. I leave it unadorned for that woodland look. You can do that with flocked trees.
The tablescape is NEW this year with my thrift store white houses.
You can see the dining room last year HERE.
Due to the mess that flocked trees can create, I prefer to get the prelit.
Tabletop Styles
I hope you have an amazing holiday decorating season!
