My Favorite Thrift Store Decor Makeovers from the Year
I started blogging in 2012. Not long before that I was getting into thrift stores. It's thrilling to find that perfect piece to go in your home. Some items just work right off the bat. Others require a little love. A few makeovers are more complicated than others like this stool makeover. It wasn't that it was complicated, just a bit more labor intensive. Most of the makeovers that I do here are very simple and usually involve a bit of paint.
I am going to share my top 5 picks for the year for our home. Then I'll show you my top pick from each team member.
Don't stop with just these selections. You will find all of the team's projects listed below. Just click on the little photo, and it will take you right to that project.
Be sure to PIN the project so you can easily refer to it.

Top 5 Thrift Store Projects
Here are my 5 favorites from the year from my blog.
I LOVE how this lamp turned out. It is still in this same spot. I do plan to use it in the twin guest room that I am working on for the new year. It is so on trend with the pleated shade.
Wicker always speaks to my heart. This piece was no exception. In its previous life, it was yellow. It is now perfectly green for the screened porch. It's a stunner with blue and white.
My daughter scored this lamp for me. It's a beauty. All it needed was a few tweaks and a new shade.
Decoupage is easier than it may look especially with cocktail napkins!
Outdoor lanterns with glass are such a pain to keep clean. Give it a little glow-up with an outdoor battery-operated candle!

These vases are so very chic! You possibly already have some vases like this in your kitchen! They would make a great hostess gift with some fresh flowers.
Small tables are the perfect beginner project! The layering of 2 separate items here for a new look is stunning.
Finding thrift store art is my favorite thing to come across when thrifting. Sometimes you just need to freshen up the frame!
This old trunk received quite the transformation. I am in awe at the ocean artwork. You can do it as well!
