How-To Paint a Mirror
I promised you all on Facebook last week, that I was going to take new photos for my thrift store mirror and rewrite the post.
How-To Paint a Mirror
This project has been one of my most popular for quite some time. It's also one of my all-time favorites from the archives.
Every week, I get together with a few of my blogging friends to bring you some of our favorite posts from our sites. I am always amazed by everyone's creativity.
This mirror has a great shape and size for smaller chests and vignettes. I purchased it for the dining room and it still has a home in the same spot.
This mirror has really done a great job of breaking up all of the wood tones in the room. Check out the painted mirror tutorial here.

Galvanized Metal Vase Makeover
Super easy way to makeover a galvanized vase or bucket!
I bought a mirror at an auction 20 years ago and took it home and hung it in my Master. About a year ago I put it over a small entry table. Mirror was already painted white and raised trim was nicely done in gold. Really thought gold was too much so used white wax and toned it down. Love it!!!! White wax is a good tool to have in your stash. Have used it many times. Easy peasy.
Yes, white wax is amazing! A good tip to use it to tone too gold of a tone!! Thank you!
