I've used fresh and faux evergreen round wreaths since I got married. They are classic and beautiful! Have you ever thought of taking a walk on the wild side (about as wild as I get……lol) and changing things up a bit?
Today I hope to inspire you with my Simple Teardrop Christmas Wreath!
This is I believe the 3rd year that I've used it. It's still evergreen, just a fun and different shape.
Today you are in for a treat!

I purchased my teardrop swag at AC Moore several years ago. You can find many already decorated and with battery operated lights. This one is nice and full and really fills out the door space well. I really enjoy the relaxed style of it.
This is perhaps the easiest wreath that I've ever put together! Below is an easy printable instruction sheet with links to purchase the items.

Attach the bells to the top of the wreath. Cover that with the placement of your bow. These are my exact bells. In the instruction card above, I've linked more supply options.
I just swiped a couple of ornaments from the tree! Attach them to the rope with floral wire or ornament hangers. You can hide it when you place everything.
Position your oversized ornament or plaque on the wreath. You can attach with wire or with a piece of the wreath itself.
It's really simple, but looks grand. The key is using just a couple of large elements like the roped bells and sign.
You can tour our entire front porch this year from yesterday's tour HERE!
Up next on the tour is my friend Cindy from County Road 407! I have high hopes of us meeting one day. She actually lives in the same small town in Texas as my dad does. She may never get me to leave! Her home is gorgeous!!

I want a teardrop wreath just like this for our front door at the Highland Village house! It would look fantastic! Love the sign and bells. You did such a wonderful job. Grinned and Pinned. And next time you visit your dad, you should let me know. I’d love to meet you in person too! I don’t think people from Texas have an accent so I want to hear your southern accent. 😉

You are so right about how adding larger elements really makes this wreath pop! I love how everything on the porch comes together with the gingham and plaid ribbon. Two of my favorites! So festive and pretty Christy!

I don’t think I’ve ever heard of AC Moore before but I’m going to look them up and see if we have one in our area. Everything you’ve used here is really pretty. Love this wreath, Christy! It doesn’t look simple to make at all but I realize after reading your steps that it is. I need to head to AC Moore to see if they still have these. I heard that the one in my town in closing.
