Pulling this recipe from the archives for this week's Home & Decor Encore has me salivating for Thanksgiving dinner. I always make the dressing. My family has been making this for many years.
It's the perfect make-ahead dish.
I pretty much always make it a couple of weeks early and freeze it.
It makes a large amount.
Depending on how many we will have to join us, I may not cook the entire amount. I'll freeze half and enjoy it for Christmas.
We usually have Thanksgiving dinner at my mother's home. It's easy to travel with.
