I hope you are having an amazing week! We are currently at the beach so this is a photo from June.
ALERT!!!!! My topiaries are now $99!!!! I can't believe this low price.
I had planned to take some photos this week, but it just didn't happen. We arrived at the beach house last Sunday. The weather was rainy on Tuesday and Wednesday so what did I do? I painted our bedroom. Ashlyn and I worked to paint the walls, trim, and doors over the course of 2 days. It looks so clean and fresh with the new luxury vinyl plank flooring that we had installed throughout the entire house in late May. I'll take a few photos right before we leave to share here.
The rest of the days have been pretty lazy and low key mainly cooking at home. It's actually a horrible blowing rain right now. It's rained a good bit this week, but we've still had wonderful beach days. It's not uncommon to have morning rain on the island that makes way for gorgeous afternoons. I love the beach around 3 pm until……It's so beautiful and perfect for reading or a little nap.
Pasta is something that we make that usually doesn't come about with a recipe.
I've always just thrown it together with what we have. This one was so good, that we are going to recreate it when we get back home.
We've cooked some great meals this week!
- Pesto Pasta with grilled chicken and veggies
- Grilled Salmon with Honey Soy Glaze
- Shrimp and Grits
- Dominoes (ha, ha)
- Dinner out at Shagger Jacks
- Grilled Chicked with Pesto
- No plans yet for tonight!
Of course, no beach trip would be complete without an adult slushie!
